I started in IT when I enlisted in the US Navy. I held a Top Secret Security clearance and graduated (Radioman) RM "A" School. After 4 years I was Honorably discharged then started an Interconnect company selling Key Telephone & PBX systems. I hold certifications on Northern Telecom, Vodavi, InterTel, Nitsuko system. In 1983 I diversified into repairing & selling PC's, we had 2 offices, 2 cities. We expanded to pay telephones mid-1980s. We started building and installing Servers in businesses and maintaining corporate networks for many of our existing Telephone system customers. After 19 years I sold the company for a profit and accepted a Management position in Information Technology.I am a Microsoft Certified Professional and Registered Microsoft OEM Systems builder. I build Exchange Servers, Web servers, VMWare ESXi hosts that run Citrix XenApp 7.15 and 1912LTSR. My strength lies with all Microsoft OS's. I've engineered our backup and recovery system (Unitrends). I developed the IT Disaster Recovery policies for Hospitals and Private Industry. I engineer and build all types of IT infrastructure& systems. I've worked with Healthcare IT for many many years including various Radiology PACS systems. I have managed and designed multi-office data and Telco connections for various corporations. I am very familiar with the Unisys ES7000’s ( with Server Sentinel), HP Blade, Racked servers. I work daily with HP Rack mounted servers and multiple HP 2052 SAN and other NAS datastores. I've done Network Fiber migrations, installing FA's in servers and configuring Brocade Fiber switches for connectivity. I have expertise with many Cisco products including PIX515e's, ASA 55X Firewalls, Gigabit Cisco Switches & Network Management. I have engineered large IT & Telco wiring projects in nursing homes, multiple car dealerships and large real estate offices.Currently we use RSA server 8.3 for 2-factor authentication with both hardware & software tokens and complex passwords, we are now migrating to MFA. I design Databases and have worked with Access VB for years. It's not easy to condense 30+ years of Telecom and Data experience into a few paragraphs. I saw the Telcom Industry deregulation and started working with 1A2 multi line phone systems then digital ones. I experienced the start of the Information Tech industry that we now know when DOS 2 was the OS for PC's utilizing 8086 & 8088 CPU's.

    I am the IT Manager for Solutions Plus LLC. We have Secure Server Environments that are accessed by clients worldwide. We utilize published applications and published desktops through Citrix XenApp 1912.LTSR. Our clients include some of the largest Law Firms in the world as well as Government agencies. I am responsible for all Solutions Plus systems from the Cisco ASA Firewalls to Cisco Switches to Rack mounted HP Servers and multiple HP SAN data storage systems.My other responsibilities include managing the Citrix XenApp 1912 CU3, VMWare ESXi 6.5 management with VSphere 6.7. We manage our email with Microsoft Exchange Online. I am responsible for and provide engineering and architecture planning and design of the entire enterprise. Our multiple locations require us to provide Five 9's of accessibility for all our users. I am responsible for all new VMWare server builds and installation along with integration into the VMWare server data center. I manage multiple HP SANs with over 30 Terabytes capability each which are the core of our storage system. I manage all the accounts for our Active Directory users & groups.Year ago I built our Citrix XenApp Infrastructure starting with version 7.6, and now have built our new XenApp 1912 Farm, Storefront, ADC (Netscaler) & DDCs and have put it into production.

    I was the Network Administrator for LCHCS. I was responsible for the entire Network including Servers, Network Infrastructure and outlying facilities owned by LCHCS. As the Network Admin I accomplished the expansion of Server Infrastructure and of the entire Network itself - Cisco Switching using EIGRP routing (dual ocx 12 fiber redundancy). I served on call 24X7X365 with a maximum response time of 30 minutes. In addition I was also responsible for the Unix mainframe server running the "Core" application for the hospital. In addition, I built the Radiology PACS system and assisted vendors integrating it into the hospitals systems.I was responsible for upgrading our network Firewall from a PIX 515e to dual ASA 5510's along with a multitude of VPN's for doctors and doctors offices to access the internal systems.

    I was one of the senior Server Techs on the Enterprise Server Team SMH. The Server team was responsible for all Windows based Rack mounted servers in the data center. In 2005 there were almost 400 servers in two data center locations. We were responsible for all hardware and software (OS) issues. We performed rotating On-call between 5 team members. I was the backup to the SAN Administrator supporting EMC and Clariion SANS. In addition I was the point man for Antivirus protection for the hospital and the one responsible for directing efforts during issues with virus outbreaks. Myself and another server tech were responsible for building & helping set up the Cardiology PACS system as well as the new (at that time) "PeopleSoft" set of servers. I performed much of the Tier 3 Web Server support along with the Network Manager who took care of the hospital wide Intranet. I worked with the Citrix Farm of servers which the hospital utilized for many of its users. Our team set up the first Microsoft "Clustered" servers in 2001 to provide a high availability environment for some of our systems such as PeopleSoft and the new Pharmacy systems.All the people in the IS Dept of SMH were great to work with.

I was instrumental in bringing Microsoft Exchange server to the organization migrating everyone over fom POP email and connecting to the Crane Corporation-wide Exchange OU. I performed the Infrastructure move for the King of Prussia office when it changed locations. I assisted the Marketing Manager when he developed the very first Crane Corporation E-Commerce site. I was involved with the creation of the "Quick-Ship Web" at the facility along with the developer and the core application vendor. I installed the first Cisco firewall at the company where previously there was nothing but a freeware proxy server.

    I was the owner of Conexxions Business Systems which started out as an small business doing telephone jacks in homes. It would grow into a company that would service Multi-line Key and PBX systems in a 4 County area. At at one point it would employ 11 people at 2 different offices (Venice & Tampa Fl). At the beginning of the "PC Age"; in the mid-80's I would expand the Key Systems business to include personal computers then onto wiring buildings for large (thin client) mainframe networks. As the PC revolution grew and small Local Area Networks became common place I began servicing these also along with selling new Computers to individuals then Workstations and Servers to business clients. When I sold the company in 1998 I was servicing 458 Business clients in a 4 County area. At many client locations I would service both the Multi-line telephone system and the clients business Computer Network. I would set up Disaster Recovery plans for many businesses.

    I was a Radioman 3rd Class, Top Secret clearance granted Nov 10th 1976. Completed Radioman "A" School in San Diego in January of 1977 and reported for my 1st duty station at NAS Keflavik Iceland in Feb 1977. I was assigned to the TSC/ASCOMM (Tactical support Center Communications). My 2nd duty station was the TSC/ASCOMM in Sigonella Sicily. I earned my NEC2359 (ASCOMM Operator) while there. During my time working in these positions I also was required to fly on operational reconnaissance missions on-board P3C Orion aircraft. By the time I was leaving the US Navy I had accumulated close to 300 hours flight time working toward getting Aircrew (AC) Wings. I was offered an Instructor slot at the new ASCOMM school they were setting up, but after 3+ years overseas, I decided to go home.I left Sigonella in July of 1980 and separated from the US Navy that same month and returned home to Venice Florida.
