The different research projects involve both medical and technical aspects and enable me to cross the line of pure engineering to real applications. As part of our company's objective, our goal is to thrive in offering the perfect product to elderly or impaired persons in need of monitoring systems. Working on a bright new specification (EBU-TT-D) in the Technology and Innovation department:My project consists in making this subtitling format shine among other formats by proving its efficiency and ease to use in media distribution. My current work focuses on the development of a solution allowing the rendering of MP4 fragmented subtitles over the DASH MPEG technology, in particular on the dash.js reference player (github.com/ebu/dash.js).My work has been presented at the dash.js face-to-face meeting in May 2015, as part of the 5th FOKUS Media Web Symposium conference.
