Sphinx Philms is an independent film production company which started out with Som writing treatments for videos. This transitioned into writing shorts and full length feature films.No Turning Back, a thrilling short about child abuse and domestic violence is the first official project in production.The first feature film under this imprint, Dr Imposter, a thriller is currently in pre-production to be shot in 2015. The aim of Sphinx Philms is to give other upcoming & established actors a platform to show their skills and to stay creative. As an actor, in a short period of time, Som has paid his dues, having appeared in several well received stage plays throughout the southeast United States, as well as made cameos in TV shows like Neccessary Roughness(U.S.A) and Single Ladies(V.H.1). He has worked on Feature Films such as The Good Lie (2014) starring Reese Witherspoon, Let's be Cops(2014) starring Damon Wayans Jr and The Hunger Games 2 (2013) starring Jennifer Lawrence and Anchorman 2 with Will Ferrell & Meagan Good (2014) in different capacities. He appeared in his first Nollywood film, Karma in 2013, co-starring with Prince David Osei. With a cool head, he plans to keep growing his brand as an actor through his own films as well as major and independent releases. To hear Som tell it. 'The Sky ain't the limit!'
