Extremely passionate and nutrition focused Chef with 20+ years in the culinary & wellness industry. James has been a chef consultant/recipe developer for health conscious food companies and small-medium restaurants since 2012.Since founding Soma Chef Services in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica in 2004 my team and I have aimed to set the standard for creatively presented, responsibly and organically sourced plant based cuisine. Our signature approach to fun & healthy cuisine have made our private chef and catering services the favorite for visiting celebrities, athletes, royalty, musicians, and food savvy travelers, as well as luxury events & retreats. I had the pleasure to serve as Costa Rica Chef for the Bundchen-Brady family from 2008 - 2022. Other notable clients include: Jay- Z, Beyonce, Mark Ruffalo, Josh Brolin, Rick Rubin, Jack Dorsey, Bruce Springsteen, David Duchovny, Tea Leonie, Liev Shreiber, Brian Grant, Raphael Saadiq, Julia Stegner, and Lou Adler. While primarily based in Costa Rica, I also travels internationally upon request.My vast experience in event production combined with local resources and a lifelong love of fashion photography lead him to form High Tide Productions in 2009, which has has since evolved in Offshore Productions. We have successfully scouted and managed photographic productions for some of the top names in the fashion industry, including Vogue, Victoria's Secret, W magazine, Wall Street Journal, Gaia Herbs, H&M, and many more.Founder and creative mind behind La Buena Paleta. LBP is an organic and locally sourced ice pop company that produces delicious coconut water based ice pops that include Chefs handpicked "superfoods". We hope to launch this company in the US.
