My journey as a communication trainer started with a new start-up language institute where I had to train the vernacular background students who lacked in their communication and had no interest in learning this subject. It was quite challenging for me to make them understand the importance of this subject as most of the students belonged to rural areas and they only believed in having English as a subject at their academic level and just to score passing marks.My first class with them included a basic introduction and the importance of learning English not for communication but for life. I delivered a small real-life experience that changed their mindset about English. They understand how interesting and important the subject is. The next day I found 90% of students attended the class with only one thing in mind: to be more friendly with the subject and to learn it.
