In a constantly changing world, the truly literate are the ones who learn, unlearn and relearn. A leader had to continuously learn and that is one of my key beliefs. I have been fortunate to have worn many different hats in a senior management role in the Maritime field in Japan, Singapore and India, not to mention the many different types of vessels I have sailed on, which places me in a unique position to understand and execute the requirements to run any Maritime establishment to the highest standards.Have worked in ownership and management setups thereby understanding the dynamics of Shipmanagement from every viewpoint.During my stint as the head of the dredging and shipping division of a Kochi based firm, had overseen maintenance dredging of small ports and land reclamation projects, using cutter suction dredgers. We were carrying out 5 dredging projects in Kerala, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal; Was involved in bidding, planning and executing Inland waterways and other state government projects.
