I am a structural biologist and the Director of X-Ray Core Facility. In 2021, I received the Distinguished University Scholar Award at FSU and was elected to the FSU Faculty Senate and reelected for another three year term until 2025. In 2023, I was elected as a member of the Executive Board and in 2024 became the President of the Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities.Since 1993, I have been training grad students and post-docs how to collect and process biological macromolecular single crystal x-ray diffraction data and crystallize proteins. I coordinate synchrotron x-ray data collection at US national laboratories for the Florida State University Structural Biology Group. I am the past President of Southeastern Association of Shared Resources, a chapter of ABRF.
