I am a Doctoral Student on PON scholarship researching on field acquisition, modelling and simulation of impulsive noise emitted by high-voltage switchgear circuit breakers, accompanied by suggestions of solutions, their modelling and simulation of noise control strategies of the aforementioned at University of Brescia. A significant part of my research is devoted to modelling, simulation and experimental validation of heat transfer and its optimisation out of the shelter housing one of the devices in urban surroundings, and another part to acoustic characterisation of certain 3D-printed porous geometries. Some key features of research in my current position are:a) Field acquisition of noise profiles of HV switchgear circuit breakers.b) Noise modelling.c) Modelling of Heat Transfer. d) Experimental validation of heat transfer through the shelter.e) Experimental and Computational acoustical characterisation of 3D printed porous geometries.My skills can be very broadly and insufficiently summarised to: Noise Modelling, Outdoor Noise Acquisition, Impulsive Noise Characterisation, Porous Materials and the JCA model, Heat Transfer Modelling, Experimental acquisition of Flow Resistivity and Tortuosity, and Experimental Radiation Efficiency of Shells.The chief software tools with which I am familar are: COMSOL, SoundPLAN, SOLIDWORKS, MATLAB, Python, NVGate, and Pulse Labshop.I am expected to have concluded the Ph.D by the end of 2024. My academic qualifications are:a) M.Sc. in Engineering Mechanics (Sound and Vibration) from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and b) B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology - Hyderabad.
