# Directed a team of 200 professionals and 700 workmen at the Nation's first alloy & special steel manufacturing unit. The unit with turnover of around 700 Cr' has a diverse product-portfolio of over 400 grades of steel,stainless steel as well as non-stainless steels in long as well as flat routes and cater to strategic sectors like Defence, Railways, Power Plants, Space & Nuclear applications. # Guided the team to set new milestones like, partnering with Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory(DRDO) into a ' Transfer-of-Technology' mission to supply critical naval/submarine grades of steels with low temperature ultra high toughness, # Led the team to improve techno-economic parameters to all-time best in many key areas that led to significant reduction of cost of production. # Enhanced the synergy of operations to build an efficient supply chain with all concerned SAIL units including Research & Development Center for Iron & Steel. #Retained units market share even during worse steel business scenario and spearheaded customer contact programmes , workshops,meets to further improve market share.#Led the team to sign a collaborative agreement with IIT,Kharagpur under the 'Pradhan Manri Uchchatara Avishkar Yojna'(UAY) project funded by MHRD & MOS for RHF based iron making technology development using low grade iron ore and coal fines. #Contributed to commissioning and stabilization of new casters at IISCO Steel Plant,Burnpur as a special assignment during2014-15. #Had been additional in-charge of Durgapur Steel Plant during the period 12.12.15 to 23.03.16

#Had led the team of SMS & CCS for sustaning high production levels much above the rated capacity with consistent improvement in quality and Tecno-economic indices with specific thrusts on cost reduction. #Notable contribution includes: improvement of total productivity of SMS-2, improvement in Converter lining life, stabilization of low Hydrogen content Rail Steel Making and Casting. #Had been instrumental in Project initiation and Contract Finalization of entire SMS3 Project.

#Worked as Production In- charge of Secondary Metallurgy and Continuous Casting units. #Also was Project Key Driver for expansion of SMS2 involving Project initiation, Contract finalization, Project Commissioning and Stabilization of Hot Metal Desulphurization, New Ladle Furnace & RH Degasser and New Slab Caster.

#Worked at various positions and functional areas at Continuous Casting Shop to became Shift Manager. #Worked as Senior Shift Manager for 2 years having overall responsibility of shift operation and maintenance for entire Converter and Casting Complex including Secondary Metallurgy Units. #Involved in commissioning and stabilization of the Continuous Casting Complex, subsequently same for Vacuum Arc Degassing (VAD)Unit, Ladle Furnace(LF) and RH Degasser.
