I have diverse experience in the field of 'Patents' (Intellectual Property (IP)) and have worked with reputed Law Firms. Currently working at a premium Lex Mundi Law Firm Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co (SAMCO) New Delhi, India where I handle an extensive domestic, international client portfolio. Prior to joing the Firm have worked at an IP boutique. Have closely worked with R&D teams and business leaders/founders of companies for advising on IP strategy aligned with their business model/interests, standardazing templates for Invention Disclosure Forms, securing patent protection in India and abroad and developing IP Cells. More recently, have been advising startups, MSMEs on IPR strategy and portfolio building apart from successfully securing patent protection (India, International).I have substantial experience in providing patentability opinion, patentability searches, drafting patent specifications, filing, prosecution (domestic and international (India, US, Europe), post grant procedures including commercialization aspects of patent rights. My practice also includes technology analysis and opinion for technology transfer transactions and M&A Due Diligence of Fortune 500 companies, infringement and invalidation search and opinion.I have been conducting workshops for IP skill and knowledge upgradation of leading technology companies including allowability of software, computer related inventions, business methods in India, US and EP, Indian patent practice and procedure, enhancing in-house search skills, and identifying patentable subject matter. My work involces travelling abroad and within India for conferences (APAA, AIPPI, FICCI), presentations and other patent meets for acquiring and rendering knowhow on patent practice and requirement under Indian and International Law and practice, leadership programmes and coaching and training freshers as well as handling admnistrative, business requirements of my practice at SAMCO. Key accomplishments: Increased (by 50%) portfolios for several clients, secured patents in India and abroad for top revenue generating products and solutions for clients, successfully secured patents for leading domestic companies in the field of AI and other emerging technologies in India and abroad to position themselves as significant domestic players for applying next-generation technology to transform business globally, advised clients in identifying and securing patents on green downed technologies in textile and fashion domain, built and expanded team with excellent retention rate in a short span.
