With a rich tapestry of nearly 20 years in the Indian animation and visual effects (VFX) industry, I currently serve as the Head of Production, VFX at ReDefine. In this pivotal role, I orchestrate a diverse portfolio of national and international projects, harnessing my core strengths in planning, implementation, and execution across a broad spectrum of endeavors.Throughout my career journey, I've amassed invaluable experience across all facets of animation and VFX production, from initial development to flawless execution. My responsibilities have transcended traditional roles, encompassing business development, customer relations, creative strategy, delivery planning, talent acquisition, retention, and management, technology integration, and financial oversight.I am a passionate advocate for creative collaboration, technology leverage, and talent optimization, championing the establishment of sustainable global digital pipelines. My body of work includes notable contributions to blockbuster movies like Star Trek (Barco experience) (2016), Inferno (2016), MI5 (2015), Sincity 2 (2014), Ra.One (2011), Storage 24 (2012), and Men in Black 4 (2012), along with award-winning commercials such as IndiGo Airlines' 'On Time' and Relentless ‘Virtues’.One of my standout achievements is the establishment of animation production at Maya Entertainment Limited in 2006, where I singlehandedly built a division with 300 professionals from the ground up. At Prime Focus, I played a pivotal role in setting up the Global VFX production pipeline with 400 individuals, a venture that has since evolved into the renowned Double Negative.I attribute my career trajectory to the robust foundation in Production for Animation, Cinematics, and Visual Effects. Beyond my professional endeavors, I am honoured to be a regular invitee as a jury member and speaker at various industry events, culminating in a keynote address at FICCI Frames 2016.
