 Responsible to set up new facilities within budgets and Timeframe to support new launch in 2013 ( Chevrolet SPIN )  Responsible for Production ( Both Assembly & Cut and sew ), Plant Quality Performance, Product Development Support, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement and JIT Sequencing. Ensure achievement of production targets for the unit within the cost, time and quality norms Ensure coordination amongst various areas of production, technical, quality, etc. Follow up of production plan from Seat Assembly, cutting to sewing and achieving targeted line efficiency. Make sure product quality is in accordance with standards laid down To provide Product & Manufacturing expertise to the Production team and ensure implementation of cost reduction/efficiency improvement through process changes/improvements To ensure timely preparation of production plans in line with the available capacity and marketing requirements. To ensure proper upkeep of manufacturing facility to achieve machine availability, efficiency utilization norms To ensure regular monitoring of performance of all departments

• Direct and oversee plant operations and activities for production, quality, purchase ,Materials l, maintenance, HR etc.• Coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers and supervisors to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.• Ensures collaboration of engineering and other functional areas, establishing effective working relationships with business partners.• Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.• Manages capital asset maintenance.• Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production, quality and industry standards.• Optimizes utilization of labor overtime, freight, and repair expenses.• Innovative process design and forward thinking planning, specifically on production lines• Maintains existing plant facilities, production equipment, and systems and recommends replacement or improvement when necessary.• Develop yearly business plans and personal objectives that support the overall company goals.• Complies with all training requirements to perform duties of the job.• Leading and assisting in continuous improvement projects, including participation on cross functional teams.• Conducting time studies and evaluating current states of existing processes and equipment.• Identifying opportunities through root cause analysis to improve current processes, equipment, and generate cost savings.• Create proposals and execute solutions based on approved recommendations.Research, implement, and conduct ROIs on assigned capital budget projects
