I have joined the University of Curaçao as a guest lecturer, teaching classes in Business Management and Finance. It has been a great experience sharing my knowledge and practical insights with students, helping them navigate the complexities of these fields and preparing them for future success. I am passionate about fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment that encourages critical thinking and practical application.It's funny how life comes full circle — from being a student myself not too long ago, to now standing on the other side of the classroom as a teacher. At the University of Curaçao, I played a key role in the final stages of internship coordination, focusing on the critical evaluation process. I worked closely with both students and their internship companies to assess the outcomes of their internships, ensuring that the experiences met both academic standards and professional expectations. This phase was essential in identifying growth opportunities and providing constructive feedback to help students transition successfully into the workforce. It was also valuable for the faculty where it could improve its processes.Managing crucial conversations was a significant aspect of my role, as I facilitated discussions between students, faculty, and external partners to align expectations and resolve any issues that arose during the internships. These conversations required a balance of empathy and assertiveness, ensuring that all parties felt heard and that meaningful resolutions were reached.
