Regional Manager - West, handling Modern Trade Chain (LFR & Hyper) Operation business to the tune of INR 40 Cr. on annual basis. At present managing 214 Chain stores and reporting to NSM (MT). Develop strategy for generating profitable business and consolidate / grow existing base in LFS / Hyper chains. Regular meetings with partners to maintain cordial relationship and ensuring that weekly sell-in sell-out plan is made & achieved. Develops Sales strategy to increase market share and profitability. Strategic tie-ups with Key accounts / LFS chains for achieving Business objectives. Direct control of large Institutions & Hyper Markets. Driving retail top line -bottom line numbers, business development- market mapping and gap analysis, selection of store locations, commercial and legal negotiations and project execution. Budgeting (Planning & Allocations), People Management, Collections, Reconciliation etc. Work closely with other areas, i.e. marketing to ensure funds allocated to optimize sales opportunities, logistics for timely supplies & accounts for payment & stock reconciliation etc. Responsible for developing and implementing promotional plans in conjunction with other areas. Merchandise Plan, New product Launching, Inventory, VM, SIS etc. Work closely with MT Space planning team for increasing the PSFSPD (per sq. ft. sale per day). Manage replenishments for stores based on stock performance and availability. To advice and guide on Sales MIS to track target and achievements of volumes and figures for assigned region. Completely involve in selection, coaching, training the team of Channel Managers, ASE / SO along with recruiting and coaching a team of Brand Associates (appx 230 nos.) as well. Manage VIP Product Consultants (BPs) performance at the store level. Ensures BTL tactics/activities are properly implemented at the store level. Monitor and ensure that the merchandising and the maintenance of the in-store display units.
