Fishing communities in India are not homogeneous since they are made up of people from many castes. These people have varied social, cultural governance structures, and traditional practises depending on where they dwell along the coast. At least 2-3 castes in each coastal state are entirely engaged in marine fishing and have no connection to the agricultural economy.Community institutions, most of which are structured along caste, clan, or religious lines, play a significant role in resolving disputes, regulating, and distributing resource consumption, ensuring equitable access to resources, and providing some form of social insurance. Most communities have created their own management methods throughout time to restrict human contact with the resource, particularly when many people rely on it to avoid conflicts. Traditional management methods were influenced by the resource, the environment in which the resource resided, and the interactions between people to harvest these assets. Space syntax analysis commonly called space syntax defines several theories and research areas devoted to the analysis of space configuration and urban design process which enhances it with analytical methods and are applied at the specific stages of a design process.[1] These methods impact the inception of design ideas on various stages with objective evaluation and results in design solutions with reduced risks. Organic evolution of space is eventually manifested in a spatial entity .it is further argued that the analysis of space could bridge [2]the gaps between space and its ultimate users of the design or the people. A configurational approach to analytical urban design is introduced, with is based on theoretical foundation, analytical methods, and modelling techniques of space syntax. Ongoing research and observation of the configuration of special settlements and human behaviour are closely related with physical infrastructure and quality of life of its inhabitants.
