The project is one of the National Pride projects in Nepal, which has 2.5 Km long and 60 m wide runway strip and modern domestic and international terminal buildings. According to ICAO Standard, the project is 4D- Category Airport. As a Contract Manager my key roles and responsibilities comprises:* Responsible for planning and management of daily construction activities of Pokhara Regional International Airport Project (PRIAP).* Preparation of monthly and weekly Detailed Work Schedules of the project with the proper allocation of resources.* Responsible for preparation of CPM Network Diagram of the project and identification of critical activities to meet the deadline of the project.* Responsible for conducting Time-Cost Trade-Off Analysis in order to optimize the duration of the project.* Responsible for conducting meeting with the Employer (CAAN) and other stakeholders during the contractual progress.* Responsible for overall contract management of the project* Responsible for performing Earned Value Analysis and preparation of S-Curve* Preparation of Monthly Interim Payment Certificate (IPC)* Preparation of Monthly Progress Report* Preparation of contract documents and agreement for sub-contracting some item of works* Preparation of Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) for Civil Works* Preparation of Construction Materials Procurement Plan* Responsible for preparation of Detailed Risk Management Plan of the Project.* Preparation of Safety Management Plan for the project.

Strengthening National Rural Transport Program (SNRTP) is the largest project in the country in terms of allocation and coverage which intends to enhance the rural connectivity for 14.6 million people in 33 districts of Nepal.The project will have tremendous impact on rural accessibility and reliability which will lead towards a greater degree of economic growth and rural poverty reduction. There are two major components under SNRTP. Component A will fund institutional strengthening, beneficiary monitoring of physical works and an impact study of selected project intervention. Support packages also include provision for updating District Transport Master Plans (DTMPs) and Multi-Year Rolling Maintenance Plans (MYRMP). Component B will support districts to implement physical works needed for upgrading or rehabilitating rural transport infrastructure, and maintaining rural transport infrastructure.As an Individual Consultant for this project in the capacity of Project Support Engineer (PSE) Grade-I, my key roles and responsibilities are as follows:* Preparation of three years rolling plan, annual program and budgets* Preparation of DPRs and respective bid documents* Preparation of Procurement Plan (PP)* Assist DTO for Bid invitation, Bid evaluation and awarding the contracts for the proposed contracts.* Preparation of Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) before the start of the works activities* Regularly inspect and check by testing wherever required the civil works and ensures that they are carried out according to the schedule, specifications and drawings and specified standards of quality are to meet the desired standard quality of the materials and workmanship* Certify the completion of works* Preparation of variation orders and guide the DTO for negotiating with contractor for the implementation of such changes.* Maintain all the records and reports according to the DTO, PMU and CPCU's requirements* Preparation of M&E reports as per the prescribed formats.
