I am working as a Contract Manager for the Design and Construction of Pokhara Regional International Airport Project (PRIAP) on behalf of China CAMCE. The project is one of the National Pride projects in Nepal, which has 2.5 Km long and 60 m wide runway strip and modern domestic and international terminal buildings. According to ICAO Standard, the project is 4D- Category Airport. Strengthening National Rural Transport Program (SNRTP) is the largest project in the country in terms of allocation and coverage which intends to enhance the rural connectivity for 14.6 million people in 33 districts of Nepal.The project will have tremendous impact on rural accessibility and reliability which will lead towards a greater degree of economic growth and rural poverty reduction. There are two major components under SNRTP. Component A will fund institutional strengthening, beneficiary monitoring of physical works and an impact study of selected project intervention.
