Design Team Leader

- Carrier: Project Manager / Senior Architect Job description: 1- Project design including:• Meetings with client to define requirements.• Requirements study, analysis and brief preparations.• Preliminary and detailed design.• Decisions on finishing materials and details.• Approval of subcontractors and assisting in nominating them.• Supervision of working drawings preparations.• Assist in preparation of Bills of Quantities• Tender documents preparation• Tender evaluation criteria preparation.2- Project management including:• Set of management criteria.• Follow up with site engineers.• Attending meetings with clients.• Construction problems sorting out.• Review of weekly and monthly reports.• Review of contractor’s submittal including work programs, report, method of statement and etc.• Approval of shop drawings.• Directing contractors to methodologies that can improve efficiency and productivity.• Watch on project budget.• Decide on design alterations and analyze its impact on project cost. • Approve contractors’ payments.• Set of handover criteria.• Supervise handing over procedure.• Follow up with client during maintenance period• Revision of “As Built drawings”.
