• Spearheading finance functions involving determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures for organizational excellence• Planning & executing corporate strategy in best interest based on current & expected business, economic & regulatory environment related to sustain competitive leadership • Partnering in translating strategic plans into master budget & responsible for cash, CAPEX & R&D budgets, and proforma statements through financial scenario modeling• Adhering statutory & regulatory compliances including UAE VAT guidelines & related commercial hygiene & upkeep of records, timely submission of VAT returns, renewal of applicable business & other licenses & leases• Publishing IFRS-compliant periodic & annual Reports & management reports to support decision making • Administering accuracy in cost classification, provisions & accruals, inventory valuation, vouching accuracy of COGS, revenue recognition & assurance, monthly book closing, and management reporting; keeping the internal controls effective, adaptative & omnipresent, safeguarding of assets • Resourceful in analyzing monthly variances, identifying accountability for budgetary slack & reason of variance, and devising appropriate control measures to avoid future recurrence• Collaborating with banks & bargaining for favorable terms at annual facility renewal, using facility creatively through Trade Finance tools like invoice financing & Treasury Receipt, ensuring availability of funds for LC Margins• Controlled cost through keeping wastes in check & ensuring optimum use of raw material, preserving quality of raw material, regularly tracking storage & ordering costs, weekly yield reviews & capacity utilization reports, active involvement in labor cost planning, scheduling & associated overhead cost • Transmission of commercial prudence through automation & standardization of processes
