Worked in Group Competitiveness (Finance) Team for strategic plans and special projects to improve agility and increase GM% & EBITDA%.Partnered with the SBUs to drive initiatives as decided at Group Level. Implement levers – pyramid, offshore, utilization, productivity, automation and group procurement. Tracking progress in a matrix structure, red flagging concerns and drawing resolution plans to address the issues.Providing business insights and analytics to higher management on trends of revenue, cost, margins and operational performance to help take business decisions. Servicing ad-hoc analysis requirements through various KPIs and deep diving into raw ERP data.

I worked on the M&A activities of ECS vertical. My responsibilities included -Evaluating strategic fit for investment and preparing business casesFinancial Modeling – Valuation (DCF & Multiples), Pay Back, Scenarios, Sensitivity AnalysisTaking part in due diligence and co-ordination between – Business Unit, Corporate Development team, Corporate Finance, Legal team and External AdvisorsScreening and evaluating Start Ups for investment by Infosys Innovation FundTracking IT sector - competitors, developments and technology trendsDriving synergies with portfolio of Start Ups under Infosys Innovation Fund.

I worked on the M&A activities of ECS vertical. My responsibilities included -Documenting white spaces and prioritizing investment themes.Research and identification of targets under the defined investment themes.Preparation of target profiles and taking up for investment evaluation.Maintaining pipeline of targets and tracking proposal progress.Analysis of M&A activities of our competitors.

I worked on a project to reduce freight cost with special emphasis on premium freight. My responsibilities included -Settling freight costs for identified “FH” Vendors in distant regions after doing cost benefit analysis between the “FH” & “Ex-Works” Mode.Identification of materials having high freight cost and initiation of localisation of such items which will give future savings.Identification of suitable vendors for localization in Jamshedpur Area to bring down freight overhead, reduce transit time and improve procurement planning.Co-ordination between departments – Finance, Production, Materials, Vendor Development and Logistics for smooth transition.I also worked on DMCR – Direct Material Cost Reduction using VA/ VE approach.
