(Note: I also led the creation of the People’s Budget for the OOC. - Created and distributed press releases, media announcements, and public education materials to shift the narrative around racial justice and the criminal legal system in the US-Promoted the grand opening of the National Memorial for Peace and Justice and the Legacy Museum, including securing substantive print, TV, and online media stories in national outlets like The New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, NewYorker.com, Vox, Slate, Aperture, The Root, The Undefeated, NowThis, and AJ+. - Cultivated, maintained, and expanded relationships with influential journalists, bloggers, and media figures.
