The research involves identifying client’s business challenges and understanding stakeholders’ performance metrics at various levels in procurement to ensure meeting client-specific requirements.• Identifying the various drivers for price, demand and cost for base metals and Precious metals.• Extraction of information and maintaining database on frequent basis from relevant sources such as Bloomberg, Reuters etc.• Building forecasting models with the help of various tools to understand the long-term and short- term price volatility to support valuation and management decisions for procurement.• Forecasting models include the time-series analysis, multiple regression analysis, ARIMA and forecasting with R.• Research and monitor industry best practices and apply quantitative and statistical techniques to assist in the development of effective risk limits.• Provide business advice and counseling to procurement managers, including the development, progress monitoring, and annual review of the price forecasts.• Determining the impact of various factors such as macroeconomics data, global equity markets and currency markets on the commodity market.• Writing whitepaper, articles and advisories in line with the latest industry trends and practices.• Assisting clients from project on-boarding, setting the right expectations in helping clients understand the complex forecasting methodologies to resolving possible queries.
