TomTom develop software devices for autonomous driving and navigation systems for the automobileindustry worldwide. Cyient is engaged with TomTom to develop and maintain software’sthat help TOMTOM to maintain and improve their map data, as data is expanding on daily basis and it keeps changing. There are various software’s being developed by Cyient to improve the quality of data for TOMTOM. And this project is one of those key components for that purpose. In this project, edits/updates made by user are validated against a Rule Set which consist of several rules as defined by Map Data Specification so as to maintain the consistency of Map Data.Component: rules-ttomThis component is exposed as a web-service to other component which consumes this service and use this service as a business logic to process data. And also this component itself consumes other services.Programming in Java 8Built upon SpringUnit testing using Junit and MockitoBuild automation using MavenVersion control using GitIntegration using JenkinsProject management using Jira and confluenceAgile methodology
