"Life is full of surprises and I believe everything happens for a reason."After earning my bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, I always thought of working in construction or design industries, but life took some unexpected turns. Starting my new journey in Building Automation seemed like a mismatch at first, since I was not having a similar background and knowledge. As I continue to expand my knowledge and skills in this dynamic field, everyday feels like a new learning experience. By staying curious and open-minded, I've been able to overcome initial doubts and thrive in a role that challenges me to think outside the box and drive innovation. My post-graduation in Project Management has been instrumental in providing me with the necessary skills to navigate this exciting industry. Through hands-on experiences like organizing the PM Connect Event 2023 (Algonquin College), I gained practical insights into project management practices and strategies, aligning with the principles outlined in the PMBOK® guide.My background in Civil and BIM Engineering has equipped me with a deep understanding of infrastructure development, sustainable construction practices, digital modeling, collaboration, and project coordination. In light of all of this, I see my diverse background as an opportunity to cross disciplinary boundaries and I believe that I can combine all of these skills and abilities to build an exciting future.
