I started my career as a reporter for The (San Luis Obispo) Tribune and later switched gears to become the social media editor at The Seattle Times. There I was part of the team that won the Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Reporting in 2010.I currently lead The New York Times's efforts around crowdsourcing and reader-sourced reporting.
