8 years ago Sonal Haria, started her first company, which was a marketing agency, with one laptop, a week cafe wifi connection and a cappuccino. 5 years later, she convinced Arjan to help her co-found her own makeup brand and so Canvas Cosmetics was born; an inclusive vegan brand, with aninbuilt mission to make women feel powerful and confident. As a young career-oriented woman, she realized she spent so much time admiring international independent brands but many of which were unavailable in her home-town of Kenya. An avid supporter of women in business and entrepreneurship, they recognized the need to offer on-the-go women of colour trendy, high-quality and affordable products and hence just launched the brand. In just 2 years Canvas Cosmetics has spread its wings to to be a Kenyan household vanity favourite, and has since extended its presence to have its headquarters in the UAE as well as presence in the UK.At Canvas Cosmetics, our main ethos is to create shades that are bendable and blendable, mixable and variable to suit all women.
