I am a counselling psychologist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. I work with a humanistic and trauma informed lens and believe in an eclectic approach to therapy. My primary therapeutic modalities are CBT (cognitive behavior therapy, SFBT (solution based brief therapy), CFT (systems approach to couples & family therapy), Gotteman Couples therapy, Emotionally focused therapy and mindfulness based practices. These are all evidence based therapies and I find them leading to positive therapeutic outcomes over a wide range of client concerns.I work with the adult population on concerns relating to relationship, family dysfunction, anxiety, low self-esteem & motivation leading to unhealthy behaviour patterns.My previous work experience, with extensive client interface, has given me skills to navigate around challenging situations, to maintain best practices, be empathetic yet remain solution and client focused.This experience also continues to help me richly with clients in my current psychotherapy private-practice.
