Graduate Program - Rotation 3I was responsible for delivering Telstra's Common Management Network Shared Services (CMN SS) platform upgrade project. This included the installation of brand new HPE Synergy Frames and HPE Nimble Storage hardware in our network environment (which was a first in Telstra). I was also responsible for managing Model/Production build phases E2E for various applications hosted via CMN SS - which also included ensuring all items in the Operational Readiness Checklist for L1-L4 Support teams and Security Operations was met. The skills I gained included: - Working closely with the Product Owner to breakdown Project Requirements into JIRA Epics, Features, User Stories and Tasks.- Facilitated Sprint planning, daily scrums, retrospectives and stakeholder meetings and comms.- Time and budget management to allocate and prioritise backlog items.- Weekly project status reports/JIRA presentations for the Senior Leadership Team. - Vendor Management - Monitoring onshore-offshore DevOps teams' performance and output, ensuring contract terms are being met, assisting in mitigating risks threatening project delay and approving/disapproving Impact Assessment's for change in scope/new projects appearing in the pipeline. - Working with procurement team to evaluate and process SOWs/PO's for required development tasks.- Continuously identified and implemented various process improvements to ensure better efficiency and quality in project delivery. Graduate Program - Rotation 2I worked closely with the senior PM to upgrade the backend infrastructure and software components of a critical business application called Unified Service Management (USM). This application is responsible for implementing custom agent installation solutions defined via the USM team, and also monitoring the health of the particular environment (physical servers, virtual machines and SOE's including Linux and Windows). I used my networking skills to get involved in various other project work for other project teams to further enhance my skill sets. The skills i gained included:- Assisted waterfall project team in adapting Agile ways of working to align with Telstra's T22 strategy. This resulted in better vendor management (onshore and offshore), identifying blockers and meeting key timelines in a constrained budget environment to meet the minimum viable product specification.- Utilised planning tools such as JIRA and Microsoft Project to assist in running daily scrums , stakeholder meetings, scheduling, risk management and effective sprint planning.- Managed the Operational Readiness Checklist (ORC) items whilst IT Domain Specialist was on leave.This included acquiring and submitting all artefacts via the portals that were required for 'Approval To Operate' to relevant SME's, Security teams and the head ORC team for final review. - Worked with SME to draft and revise the IT architecture in the SAD (system architectural document) for Telstra's payphone upgrade project, using Visio. - Reviewed/drafted user documentation using Telstra's standard corporate guidelines.

Graduate Program - Rotation 1In this rotation I was responsible for coordinating a broad range of projects within IT Operations.1. Monthly IT Operations metrics reporting for the Senior Leadership Team.- Established baseline Operational Level Agreement metrics for enhanced customer satisfaction for the senior leadership team. - Scheduling / Stakeholder holder management.- Took initiative to shift metric data into an automated Splunk Dashboard. 2. Worked closely with Telstra Property to lead a Change Management Project.- Coordinated two successful IT Ops staff office relocation's.- Worked along-side multiple stakeholders to gather technical and non-technical requirements.- Conducted resource allocation with a tool called Sierraview.- Supported all staff E2E with strong leadership, clear plans and concise communication skills. - Received recognition from IT Ops Director for a seamless change management. 3. Data Migration to SharePoint Project with L2 Support teams.- Gathered data requirements from each team, then developed a project plan and a mock up site plan.- Continuously managed stakeholder expectations regarding feasibility/time constraints, as well as meeting with them regularly to ensure the project was progressing as per their expectations.- Built the SharePoint site and successfully transferred all the data across for every team.- Delivered 2 handover workshops and presentations, with custom built ‘support documentation’ for any future problems that may arise.- Successfully delivered the project – received recognition from L2 Support team's GM and staff.
