The RHA is a zero-fund volunteer organization that works to get surplus food from communities and restaurants to serve the less fortunate. I had also taught underprivileged children on weekends (RHA academy) in order to bring permanent changes in these little lives. Several volunteer activities such as tree plantation, sanitary pad distribution, vaccination drive were carried out.

Title of my dissertation: Desiccation induced changes in the physiological metabolic and respiratory responses in red algae, Gracilaria salicornia

During my experience of 3 months , I had hands-on training on several instruments and had conducted several biochemical assays on several types of seaweeds. I had learned about the basic characteristics of more than 25 types of seaweeds and their importance in various fields such as pharmaceutical, cosmetics, energy production, etc. Major focus was given on production of biofuel by seaweeds and other microbes.
