Sonam is an Internal Medicine physician and MBA from Kellogg Business school with a vast range of experience serving a diverse range of people and healthcare challenges. Worked across places in India to the renowned Cook County Hospital in Chicago. In every role and initiative, Sonam has worked across multicultural teams both as a team member and a team leader. With the unique combination of MD and MBA, she has been an invaluable team player both on the clinical leadership and the business development side. She has lead and shaped healthcare initiatives like PrevLyfe for new mom’s mental health along with preventative health in her community and globally. She has an in-depth understanding and knowledge of how health innovation play an important role in overall well-being through this healthcare project. She has been at the front end of designing and implementing labor and time-saving changes in the electronic medical record system like developing care sets in EMR to decrease medical errors and save time. Utilizing assigned data to incorporate tools used to report, monitor and improve utilization management. Supporting hiring, onboarding, training, and oversight of hospital team members. Initiating and executing QI projects like Diabetes Mellitus management. She is passionately working to fill the gaps in preventive health starting with new moms.
