Project Description: Luang Prabang Hydropower Project is a run-off-river hydroelectric project along Mekong mainstream. The project, initiated in January 2022 and ongoing, is located in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR, and is owned by CH. Karnchang (Lao) Company Limited, with CH. Karnchang (Lao) Co., Ltd. serving as the EPC Contractor. The project is intricately designed, featuring seven turbines, each yielding 200 MW, and three auxiliary units tailored to utilize water for fish attraction flow, thereby adding an extra 60 MW to the total power output capacity of 1460 MW. Project Description: Nam Emoun Hydroelectric Power Project is situated in Sekong province, Lao PDR, and is under the ownership of Chaleon Sekong Energy Company Limited, while Song Da 5 Joint Stock Company acts as the EPC Contractor. The project encompasses a powerhouse equipped with two vertical Pelton turbines, collectively generating 133 MW of power. Additionally, it features a main dam and diversion dam, each equipped with three gated spillways, pressurized conveyance tunnels, desanders, and baffled drop shafts. Project Description: The MRT Orange Line (East Section) is integral to the Thai government's plan for an extensive electric train transit network in Bangkok, aiming to improve residents' quality of life by addressing traffic congestion, enhancing the environment, and reducing fuel consumption. Project E1, covering underground civil works, was awarded to EPC contractor CH. Karnchang Public Co., Ltd. and Sino-Thai Engineering & Construction Public Co., Ltd (CKST Joint Venture).The EPC contractor has engaged AGATE, a design team comprising AECOM, GFE, and TEAM Group, for extensive geotechnical and detailed engineering design tasks. This includes the detailed design of diverse permanent underground structures, along with design of temporary structure like support systems for underground construction, road deck systems, ground improvement, and protective design measures for existing buildings.
