Karnchang (Lao) Co., Ltd. serving as the EPC Contractor. The project is intricately designed, featuring seven turbines, each yielding 200 MW, and three auxiliary units tailored to utilize water for fish attraction flow, thereby adding an extra 60 MW to the total power output capacity of 1460 MW.     Project Description: Nam Emoun Hydroelectric Power Project is situated in Sekong province, Lao PDR, and is under the ownership of Chaleon Sekong Energy Company Limited, while Song Da 5 Joint Stock Company acts as the EPC Contractor. The project encompasses a powerhouse equipped with two vertical Pelton turbines, collectively generating 133 MW of power. Additionally, it features a main dam and diversion dam, each equipped with three gated spillways, pressurized conveyance tunnels, desanders, and baffled drop shafts.
