I key in merchandise that the customers are purchasing, versus scanning it! I make the public feel appreciated and I thank them for their time! I muti-task and answer the customers questions about the company (such as the location of certain items, information about when we'll get our next truck, etc.). Along with doing what my job title requies, I complete other assignments according to my management's needs! Working well with my co-workers is also a requirement to produce successful results for the company as a whole!

I pulled merchandise from the back after it had been unloaded from the truck and took it to the floor and organized it by price, color, type of sale, etc! I performed RTV'S (return to vendor), which is pulling items from the sales floor that companies have requested us to ship back to them! I set up displays, making them more appealing to the customers eye! I made sure items were marked down that had been reduced in price, as well as making sure the store stayed neat and organized! I also set sells and tore them down when it was time to set a new sale!

Scanned and bagged grocery and non-grocery items, rotated and stocked shelves, red-lined and zoned my registers lane, handled and counted money daily, cleaned and kept my work area nice and organized, and helped assist customers with whatever their concerns were, and of course, having confidence in dealing with the public.

Provided great customer service and minimized shrink! I kept the store clean and operated the fitting rooms by observing customers as they walked in and out with merchandise! I performed price checks and mark downs of discounted items and helped with inventory inspections! I also operated the jewelry counter and performed sales!
