I was responsible for our student tours traveling to France and Northern & Central Europe. I managed any customization requests that came in, priced them out and communicated those changes to the appropriate departments.I participated in trainings for the Sales staff and provided extensive support via phone and email for any questions relating to the tours I was responsible for.I maintained our Intranet web site with the latest information for the Sales staff on the phone.

I was responsible for booking group flights for student tours traveling to Europe via the Amadeus system. I managed a multi-million dollar budget for booking the flights for these groups based on airline contracts between EF and the major carriers.I communicated over-budget issues for customizations to those tours, and provided options to resolve them wherever possible. I also spent extensive time re-allocating previous bookings to try and get better itineraries at a better rate.

Responsible for selling student tours to teachers and other group Leaders from TX and some of the surrounding states.Tracked the 120 student tours I sold and communicated any requested or paid for changes to the necessary departments. Put together packages of plane tickets and other necessary documents so that the departure was as smooth as possible for each group leader. Checked in with each group leader after their tour to see how things went and get any feedback.

Taught 8th Grade English/Language Arts at Thompson Middle School (the school was closed by BPS at the end of the summer of 2003)

Assisted the Dean of the Graduate Program in Education with admissions processing, answered questions from prospective graduate students, and provided support to current students in the program.

Provided support to the upper management by putting together AFPs, as well as, answering any calls coming from the customer. Communicated with a range of individuals at financial institutions interested in our real estate evaluations ranging from bank branches to the CEOs of major banks like PNC and Chase. Performed some office work as well kept the kitchen stocked and arranged for lunches and off-site events.
