Curator of the Art Department Audio Visual Resource Center, reporting to the Chairman of the Art Department, Mark Anderson and the Director of the Allbritton Art Institute, Paul McCoy. I maintain a collection of 400 videos. I propose purchases and projects, train and supervise student assistants. I scan and prepare digital images for use in the classroom. I Edit images using PhotoShop software and prepare PowerPoint presentations. I also assist with special projects, online contest entries and programs in the Art History and Studio Art Departments at Baylor University. I transitioned the Art Department from using 35 mm slides to using digital images and PowerPoint presentations over the last decade.

Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Architectural Barriers ProgramI assisted architects in designing within the Texas Accessibility Standards. I assisted in establishing accessibility policy and enforcement of the code in Texas.Reviewed architectural plans and specifications for conformance to state standards for accessibility for the disabled and recommended design solutions to accessibility problems. Met with Architects to discuss design issues during the design phase. Provided guidance to Architects and building owners concerning accessibility issues. As Zone 3 manager, Houston, I processed variances. As one of the webmasters I was responsible for the architectural barriers web site.

Prepared architectural preservation and restoration documents using Microsoft Word and Mini-CAD software on a Macintosh II computer. As Director of computer operations and report production, I was in charge of computer automation, responsible for data archival and for maintaining computer software.

Maintained and enlarged the Slide Collection in all phases of its operation, proposed purchases and projects, trained and supervised students and assistants, designed a Data Base Management Computer Program for a reference system for visual resources, photographed and processed slides and assisted in setting up the darkroom.

Assisted in maintaining the slide collection by accessioning and classifying slides, updating catalogues, coordinating and supervising the audio-visual equipment reservation and checkout system.
