• Enable the implementation of related BASF guidelines, procedures and standards.• Implement MOC (plant modification) Procedure.• Ensure implementation and final documentation of the approved Management of Change Works.• Implement Project Management Procedure.• Plan and schedule the investment projects and plant modifications.• Determines the scope and estimated running periods of the works to be done for Electrical & Mechanical Activities of Plant Modifications and Investment Projects.• Monitor mechanical and electrical construction in progress, conducts final inspections, commissioning, generates punch list and approve the acceptance of the completed projects.• Provide procurement of equipment and services for plant modifications and investment projects.• Make sure that designs and finished work comply with the BASF rules, specifications, regulations and contract.• Ensure the P&IDs and Pipe Service Index are updated.• Prepare Technical Specifications.• Give support for SHE Review (including HAZOP and Clean Sheet Review) and Risk Assessment studies.• Ensures and checks conformity to laws, standards and rules on safety at work, occupational health and environmental issues at the operations under his or her management.• Provide required calculations for safety systems (relief valves, etc.) according to local and global regulations and guidelines.• Issue related Site Engineering reports.• Manage reporting team in project office.• Back-up for the Engineering and Maintenance Manager.• Do process improvement studies (5S, etc.) within project office.
