As an educator, I get to practice and model my love for learning everyday. I am trained in Classics, which is a multi-disciplinary subject that touches language, history, philosophy, art and archaeology. That is my background, but the primary work that I do is build relationships with my students and help them achieve their goals through appropriate scaffolding. I have developed a keen interest in personal finance and financial planning through Next Gen Personal Finance Certifications, CFP® coursework at Bryant University, and formal training from Amplified Planning. I am also the creator and instructor of a highly-rated staff development course titled "Financial Literacy through the Blended Learning Model," which teaches the concepts of retirement planning, stock investing, and tax planning to educators, nurses, and social workers who work in school settings.
