About Soni Anglin

As an administrative professional, I am proficient in administrative tasks such as filing, data processing, researching, purchasing, and event planning. But my strengths lie in my ability to use technology to add efficiency in my projects. In 2007, I was given a handwritten ledger of clients to maintain. To find a returning clients files, I manually searched the ledger for the client and the file location number, then located the physical file from the archives. I used the handwritten ledger to create an Excel version which saved time in locating client files and was readily available to everyone in the office.In 2018, I created a Google Form to replace the paper forms that had been the standard platform for registering participants in the summer youth programs. With this new form, more than a 100 youth and chaperones were able to register within a few days for the activities of their choice, without the typical delay or errors from transcribing from hand written forms. I enjoy learning how to make functional systems work better to reduce waste and cut down on mistakes.
