Sonia Lenzi is a photographer and a visual artist. Her artistic practice has an interdisciplinary approach and involves interrelated themes, concerning belonging and memories of people and places. She has exhibited in Italy and abroad and her works are in many collections.Her project “It Could Have Been Me" (2015) was shown in Bologna at the High Speed Train Station as a temporary installation, Family Archaeologies (2015), an exploration of her family history, was shown in London and Lares Familiares at the Archaeological Museum in Naples (2016) in Ferrara (2017) and at ICI London (Italian Cultural Institute) in 2019. 'Last Portrait' was performed at the 'Feminist Library' and at the 'Women’s Art Library, Special Collections and Archives a Goldsmiths, University of London' (2019).
