She has handled various high stake infrastructure arbitration matters involving multi-crore claims. Some of the high stake arbitration matters handled by her relates to construction of Thermal Power Plants, National Highways, Sub-Stations, Waste to Energy Plant, Other Buildings etc. Besides this, Ms. Madan has successfully represented clients in various disputes arising out of Coal Supply Agreement, Coal Logistics Agreement, Agreements for supply of Transformers, grinding medial balls for overhauling of Coal Mills, Agreement for Dry Fly Ash Evacuation, Agreement for creating infrastructure funded under World bank Scheme such as Rural electrification scheme etc. She holds special expertise in dealing with Energy Laws and has represented State electricity utilities in a variety of regulatory issues including tariff determination petitions, disputes between licensee and generator, inter-state energy disputes, disputes arising out of Power Purchase/Sale Agreements, Fuel Supply Agreements, Fuel Logistics Agreement etc. She regularly counsels corporate houses involved in Real Estate Sector and has represented in wide variety of disputes related to land laws. An extraordinary Orator, she has participated in conferences on Alternative Dispute Resolution and was involved in organizing the Global Pound Conference held in Chandigarh on ‘Shaping the future of dispute resolution and improving access to justice.Ms. Madan has a thorough knowledge of the Commercial financial sector having graduated from Lebow College of Business at Drexel University, Philadelphia, the USA with a major in Finance. Before graduating as a Lawyer, She has worked with Organizations like Bristol Myers Squibb; a US-based Pharmaceutical Company, and Reliance Industries Ltd. She has to her credit an exemplary academic record. She has been awarded the Beta Gama Sigma academic excellence award for graduating Masters of Business Administration with 4.0 CGPA and is the recipient of Six Gold medals as a Punjab University topper for Bachelor of Laws. At Drexel University, She was Event Manager for Drexel Women in Business Association and conducted several events for the association.
