Responsibilities:- Define strategy for fashion sector to increase DHL Global Forwarding’s market share.- Update market intelligence for the industry to beat competition and launch new products to attract more customers.- Acquire new businesses locally and globally.- Achieve Fashion target as per DGF yearly budgets.- Make sure performance of all Air & Ocean operations meet or exceed customer’s expectations.- Manage Key Account staff members located inside shipper’s premises for all daily duties including operational, commercial and financial duties.- Managing department staff members to achieve targets and budgets.- Answering all RFQs from network for Retail, for both Air and Ocean.- Work in close contact with Product Managers to ensure support for fashion department.- Maintain and manage good relations with shipping lines to ensure the best rates and service levels.- Resolve any payment disputes with customers.

- Built the Fashion business from scratch for DHL Global Forwarding, starting in 2002 and until the present day, where it now has a significant market share in the forwarding business for the Fashion industry.- Was responsible for building the DHL Auga Office and following up on all its activities to serve the fashion customers inside the QIZ (Qualified Industrial Zones) area.

Gained great experience in the forwarding business, in all the relevant key areas.

A middle management position which provided me with excellent management experience in Middle East markets, including:- Being in charge of launching new British Airways Cargo products in the market.- Being fully responsible for achieving sales targets in Cairo & Alexandria markets.- Participating in creating budget plans for Egypt Office.

Started the Sales department in British Airways World Cargo in Egypt, and was responsible for launching the Personal Effects shipping service with great success.

Was responsible for all air cargo operations and export/import activities including dealing with customs, resolution of issues and fulfilling all customer requests.
