• Presently managing, supervising and coordinating a variety of activities in support of the Hotel's 637 room property (i.e. associate opinion survey, safety committee, community service events, orientation, training, recognition events and luncheons…).• Assist the Director of Human Resources review and revise hotel wage scale and execute and implement strategies that serve to attract, retain and develop diverse talent • Monitor processes, evaluate and interpret information according to CBA, SOP, LSOP, Federal and California labor law requirements and guidelines.• Direct and work with human resources associates on recruitment, total compensation, benefits, associate relations, training, compliance and development. • Work with Hotel Managers, Union Business Agents and Shop Stewards to find solutions that are fair, consistent and will benefit all parties involved.

• Responsible for Affirmative Action plan, monitor the candidate identification and selection process, while establishing and maintain contact with external recruitment sources and attend local job fairs.• Attend unemployment hearings and work with unemployment services to respond to unemployment claims.• Communicate hotel LSOP’s, the progressive discipline policy, Peer Review, Associate Resource Line, Business Integrity Line, and the Guarantee of Fair Treatment during orientation and via the associate handbook.• Respond to union grievances and coach Managers on progressive discipline process, ensure guarantee of fair treatment and open door policy is consistently followed and proper documentation is maintained on all disciplinary issues.• Work with Hotel Managers, Union Business Agents and Shop Stewards to find solutions that are fair, consistent and will benefit all parties involved.
