I passed my PhD VIVA in September 2019 and obtained my PhD in November 2019 from UH (in cooperation with UCL and KatLab) in neuropsychology and cognitive psychology. My PhD research focused on bodily awareness and unawareness in both healthy subjects and patients with right hemisphere stroke and spatial cognition in the healthy population, supervised by Dr. Paul Jenkinson (University of Hertfordshire) and Dr. Aikaterini Fotopoulou (UCL).

Neuropsychological researcher in a rehabilitation centre for patients with acquired brain injury (Centro Puzzle), first in the context of University programme and then funded by a research bursary (Lagrange Project, CRT foundation). The aim of the project (named “Self-awareness: neural correlates and new methods of assessment”) was to develop a novel, patient-tailored technique to measure impaired self-awareness in patients with acquired brain injury. Part of my time was also dedicated to clinical activities, including neuropsychological assessments and targeted rehabilitative cognitive interventions.
