 Vendor Management including the update and record keeping of current vendors, researching new vendors per company and project needs and matching scopes of service. Pre-qualification of vendor and entry into various company systems and databases once approved.  Creation and application of tracking system for all vendors in system to include all relevant information on file, information needed, duration of pre-qualification process, and final status.  Provide training for new purchasing staff regarding pre-qualification and applicable systems, policies, and expectations.  Quality assessment of vendors per documentation submitted to measure against company guidelines for acceptance into systems.  Processing of purchase requisitions and purchase orders. Requests for quotes/bids and completing bid analysis for company needs.  Vendor negotiations for acceptance of corporate payment terms and procedures.  Track and report on relationships with local community, including small and women based business ventures. Assist in Corporate Social Responsibility planning and execution.
