Teaching Assistant under Dr. Geoff Sutcliffe for Computer Programming I. Assist students in coding and aiding them in lab tasks and projects. Help students understand coding material in a primary coding course.

UQUEST is an educational research and development project. The project is collaboration between the University of Miami’s Department of Psychology, College of Arts & Sciences and the Overtown Youth Center, a non-profit youth development agency that addresses the needs of underserved and economically disadvantaged minority youth.

- Researching alive and deceased brain donors to the bank and understanding how certain neurological conditions affect the structure of the brain under Dr. William Scott- Examining brain matter and tissue to identify key features that affect the brain- Using computation, be able to gather data and create models based on information found through brain samples of donors- Working on a project emphasizing Schizophrenic brains

- Aiding students in technical issues- Training in Microsoft Office Suite- Tracking and replenishing inventory

- Participated in integrated Biology and Chemistry research and developed unique projects under Dr. Daniel DiResta, Dr. Valentine St. Hilaire, Dr. Kevin Collins, and Dr. Marc Knecht- First project focused on the effect of caffeine on the regeneration of planaria- Second project focused on the catalytic activity of trimetallic nanoparticles and their effects on C. elegans

- Helped establish and configure ideas surrounding the five pillars of virtual health to further the company's mission- Drafted and developed two patents; one for a virtual care team collaboration system based on geolocation and patient taxonomy and the other for a virtual configuration system based on care teams and roles in a facility- Developed RFP and Sales Bots for FAQs for the company - Aided the company in preparing for the 2021 HIMSS Conference

- Organized patient files online - Due to the height of COVID-19 during the summer, the office was closed for in-person visits; in charge of calling patients, rescheduling to online visits, and guiding patients though telehealth visits- Initiating Medicare Wellness appointments- Scheduling patients and pre-appointment patient triage at the front desk

- Attended Student Science Training Program (SSTP) at the University of Florida and researched under Dr. Jörg Peters- Designed simulations for surgeries in a virtual, yet realistic, environment, like a laparoscopic cholecystectomy- STEM Speaker at the 2020 Regional Junior Science, Engineering, and Humanities Symposium; was selected among 24 others in the entire state of Florida to speak on my project at the Regional Junior Science, Engineering, and Humanities Symposium- 1st Place in Mathematics & Computation at the 2020 Dr. Nelson Ying Orange County Science Exposition

- Worked under Dr. Yu Yuan, an associate professor at the University of Central Florida's Department of Chemistry- Synthesized antimalarials with potent properties to target Malaria (2017-2018)- 10th Grade Speaker at the 2018 Regional Junior Science, Engineering, and Humanities Symposium - 4th Place in Chemistry at the 2018 Dr. Nelson Ying Orange County Science Exposition - Created Teixobactin analogues to aid increasing antimicrobial resistance (2018-2019)- 2nd Place in Chemistry at the 2019 Dr. Nelson Ying Orange County Science Exposition
