PhD student in Biomedical Sciences at the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa funded by a PhD Scholarship from the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) with the project "Data-Driven Phenotyping in Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction", collaborating with the R&D Unit ciTechCare - Center for Innovative Care and Health Technology (FCT/UI/05704/2020), as a research fellow, and with the Unidade Local de Saúde da Região de Leiria (Hospital Santo André), developing both practical and scientific activities. Also a Cardiopulmonary Technician in the Unidade Local de Saúde da Região de Leiria, assisting the Cardiopulmonary Exercise Tests (CPET) for cardiac and pulmonary patients as well as research projects.Holding a MSc in Cardiovascular Rehabilitation and a BSc in Clinical Physiology, my research areas and interests are mainly focused on heart failure, autonomic nervous system, cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation and diseases.
