Previously, Sonia was the National Managing Partner of BDO's Consulting Service Lines, leading a team of over 600 professionals focused on Management Consulting, Risk Advisory Services and Technology Consulting. She has over 25 years of Finance & Operations experience and over 20 years of Technology Consulting experience. Sonia has also served as one of nine Firm Board Members for BDO Canada from 2019 to 2022, during one of the most critical and transformative times for the firm. While Sonia has worn many hats throughout her 17+ year career at BDO Canada, growth is a key driver for her. Sonia has successfully spearheaded several strategic partnerships and acquisitions, which have resulted in a significant business impact and growth in revenue, as has her ability to identify and create ways for BDO to create a competitive advantage for itself. Throughout her career, Sonia has made it her mission to champion diversity in the workplace, especially when it comes to increasing the number of women in leadership positions.
