Joined the IoT and Analytics Professional Services team as a Technical Project Manager responsible for implementing complex Data Science and Analytics projects. • Led the first Scene Analytics solution for Room40 and Vias, in Belgium. Scene Analytics is a computer vision tool that uses data science to detect visual anomalies and presents it in a dashboard for human review • Led project for the development of a Hub Optimization tool for FedEx which used Data Science algorithms to balance the workload within the distribution hub to create the most efficient allocation of resources. • Led Scene Analytics trial project for Odakyu Railway systems in Japan, using computer vision and algorithms to detect safety issues and create warnings at observed railway crossings. This was a proof of concept which is leading to an expanded pilot program. Eventually this will be a larger full-scale implementation. • Led a Data Science team as part of a larger program for Aramco in Saudi Arabia which is using algorithms and analytics to predict time to failure for oil and gas machinery based on historical data

Recruited for the role of Program Manager to roll out a comprehensive DOJ mandated Compliance Risk program for Walmart. The program included creating procedures for screening all Vendors through a multi-level Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and Bribery risk assessment. Initial responsibilities included managing the initial roll out for the UK Market, delivering onsite training and ongoing user support. This role developed into a broader role as the overall Engagement Manager, interfacing with their legal team.• Built and managed a team of 35 Compliance Analysts who produced Compliance Risk Assessment Reports which were used as evidence, if audited, that the Walmart had done proper due diligence in screening potential vendors.• Monitored adherence to the SOW and Master Service Agreement which had steep penalties for failure to meet SLA's. Some key performance indicators included turnaround times for each report as well maintaining required volume throughputs. All services levels were consistently met.• Produced and delivered a Weekly Dashboard report that was used by the customer to assess the overall health of the program.

Project Manager within a team created by the CIO to reestablish a Global Technology PMO. The group had been previously eliminated due to cost management. • Collected and documented a master project listing. Created a single view of over 400 projects run out of 4 geographically spread out development locations with 4 different local PMOs. After the list was rationalized there were still over 200 projects remaining.• Created a Project Initiation process in SharePoint that included workflows which would notify stakeholders as the project moves through each level of approval. Reports from this process were used by senior leadership bi-weekly to determine whether the project should move forward to the next phase.• Created a detailed Cost of Goods analysis for Customer Facing applications to evaluate if the amount of money spent in support of an application was supported by its revenue. This process was also to be used as a framework for the Sales Operations team to build Product Profitability reports.• Created an executive view of Cost of Goods which illustrated to the technology leadership team, the breakdown of $178M of spend across Technology.

Project Manager and Team Leader for the Application Migration stream of a larger Data Center Migration team, coordinating the “move” of over 1400 servers and 300 Applications, mostly through replication, which minimized disruption to customers.• Collected all pertinent technical data, including application interdependencies. Devised order and groupings for multiple migration events.• Acted as onsite technical coordinator of specific migrations events.• Managed $10M migration budget and its allocation to 15 development groups, while ensuring financial reporting allowed for proper capitalization.

Responsibilities were expanded to manage an established Corporate Business Continuity program and established a new Capacity Management program.• Managed the company’s Corporate Business Continuity team. This included full Disaster Recovery planning in addition to Business Continuity planning. • Conducted Disaster Recovery testing two times a year and achieved full Recovery Time Objectives as well as Revenue Protection objectives. 85% of Revenue generating applications recovered within 48 hours.• Remediated all BCP deficiencies assessed by our corporate audit. All issues were resolved by the next audit.• Instituted a Capacity Management team whose function was to stop unchecked infrastructure spending. The first year the team met its $2.1 M in year savings target. This was done by using utilization data as well as negotiating with other teams to reduce infrastructure footprint.
