Initally as VP Sponsorships, Sonia built the committee from the ground up to a team of more than 15 young professionals. In 2017, her team reached $1M in net cumulative corporate sponsorships benefiting the Douglas Foundation and Fondation Jeunes en Tête.www.letsbond.ca. She is now in 2022 a Director with a more seasonal role raising awareness and raising funds for the cause.

Sonia led a sales team of commercial account managers in the Greater Montreal area. Her mandate was to implement a successful sales rhythm, optimize the client experience and grow the portfolio while maintaining sound risk management practices. Over the years, the team reached the following annual sales targets: 2017: 130%, 2018: 120%, 2019: 141%, 2020: 77% (covid-19 impacted results). Employee career development, a key priority for her, led to more than a dozen promotions within her team and several Performance of the Year Awards under her leadership.

Sonia's main goal was to act as a Leasing Specialist for 30 Commercial Account Managers divided into 4 teams: Saint-Laurent, West Island, Knowledge Based Industries (downtown) and Real Estate (downtown) teams. Her role was to find, develop and structure leasing transactions in parallel with the teams in order to better service the clients.

As an Account Manager at RBC Royal Bank of Canada in the Commercial Financial Services division. Sonia specialized in credit financing, equipment leasing, investments, real estate financing, letters of credit or cash management solutions for everyday banking. Her target market was mid-market companies requiring financing needs from $500,000 to $25 Million, with Sales ranging from $3 Million to $100 Million. Her key industries were Supply Chain and Real Estate. In her last mandate, she was named one of RBC's Q3 2015 Elite Banker, signed new prospects, reached her sales and revenues yearly targets while maxing out the total number of referrals to internal RBC partners. As of October 2015, her portfolio had a 10% growth vs. 7% target.

Specialized in the transportation and construction industries, I managed and developed my portfolio of clients. I offered equipment financing via term loans, capital leases, off balance sheet leases and revolving equipment lease lines.
