Type of financing included loan finance, quasi equity and BEE equity transactions. Assessments ranged from R1 million to R150 million. Report writing: prepared reports for submission to the SBU Head, the Credit Committee, as well as the IDC Executive and Board Meetings in respect of assessments of funding applications. Assessments handled individually for the IDC Executive and Board meetings include TSW Manufacturing (Pty) Ltd (a subsidiary of Tiger Wheels Limited) and Aerosud (Pty) Ltd, which included an empowerment structuring.• CLIENT CARE - managed approximately 25 existing clients. • FINANCIAL CUSTODIAN Custodian of financial training for existing employees, as well as newly appointed employees to the Metals SBU. Cleared financial manual exercises for non-financial professionals in the Metals SBU.• MENTOR AND COACH - Acted as mentor and / or coach for various new recruits to the Metals SBU.

I completed my articles to become a qualified Chartered Accountant at PwC, an internationally recognized organization.During my articles, I completed audits on companies of various sizes, in a wide range of industries - including some of the largest companies in South Africa.Responsibilities as external auditor included audit planning; budgeting; day-to-day management of the audit team; evaluation of control procedures of the client by assessing the overall control environment, monitoring controls and application controls; reporting of audit issues to senior managers and partners and resolution of audit queries, maintaining and reviewing audit work papers, drafting client financial statements. I also performed pension fund audits, due diligences, valuations of both assets and companies; and provided training to new entrants - both on an individual, as well as classroom basis. I also acted as a mentor and coach to junior clerks.
