This was a UK based subsidiary of a US based American Company dealing in the electronics industry.I managed the day to day responsibilities of the office and was responsible for 2 staff members in the London office and the warehouse manager and Sale representative in Wales until Dec 2005. This included Monitoring Annual Leave, Sick Days, Expenses and Liaising with the US on a regular basis regards status of the CompanyFrom Dec 2005 –Nov 2007 I managed all aspects of the business on my own. This included using Quick Books Accounting Software for the following:Credit ControlBank Reconciliations and Vat ReturnsSales and Bought LedgersCash bookPurchasing & ShippingEstimates & TendersI also took responsibility for marketing plans, arranging adverts for magazines and on line directories.Liaising with Distributors and Customers as well as all reception duties and Customer Care services.

Radiology Department as part of a 4 clerical staffed team.Duties includedCollecting X-rays from wardsAssembling x-rays for doctors to report on and making sure they were back on ward for rounds. This called for liaising closely with the Ward Clerk and doctors both on the ward and in the Radiology Dept.Making appointments for specialized Radiography scans, CT scans and Ultrasound Scans with inpatients and outpatientsManaging the front Desk of the Department.This job called for confidentiality and patience. As it was a job share working as part of a team was vital.

Collate and file X-rays so they are available to be sent back to the ward at the end of the day.

Duties includedOpening and distributing postCollecting sorting and filing away documents.Collecting outgoing post from all departments to be franked, making sure it was franked and bagged for collection on time.Covering the reception area Filming archive documents for micro film.Maintaining the microfilm and fiche readers
