As the Director of Operations at Mullis and Associates Physical Therapy and Fitness, I was responsible for managing and overseeing various areas of the business as well as manage the Administrative Staff.Some of the areas included: Human Resources, Marketing, Customer Service, IT, Community Partnerships, Event Planning, Billing and Accounting.

• Managed the Rewards Portfolio worth almost a half a billion dollars in sales.• Managed direct reports (Category Merchandiser and Lead Clerk).

♣ Managed Ethnic and Kosher Portfolio for Stop & Shop Stores. Portfolio includes Hispanic, African-American and Jewish Foods.♣ Reviewed and implemented assortment decisions.♣ Worked with National and Local Vendors to ensure they were meeting the needs of our customers.♣ Explored Direct and Warehouse opportunities to maximize sales and profit.♣ Negotiated and developed promotional plans based on department goals.♣ Selected, ordered and communicated the display and merchandising plan to the Stores. ♣ Drove profitable sales for each of my categories, ensuring the dollar, unit and profit growth.♣ Assisted the Stores at all times.

♣ Managed Personal Care Portfolio worth over $200 million, for both Stop & Shop and Giant of Landover. Portfolio included 15 different categories across almost 600 stores. I was able to increase sales by 6.5% and profit by 4.5% over all categories, during FY2009. Some other personal achievements during FY09 included increasing Personal Wash sales by 15%, Adult Incontinence Product sales by 14.4% and Deodorant sales by 9%, as well as having the best trend in the Sun Care category in Food/Drug/Mass across the Northeast (up over 13%). ♣ Met with Vendors weekly, to analyze the business performance, market trends, assortment, strategies and vendor funding.♣ Entered promotions in the system and presented weekly promotional plan to management.♣ Worked with the warehouses to ensure that all products were available at all times.♣ Managed and provided guidance to both the Assistant Buyer and Lead Clerk, to ensure that they met the department and their personal goals.

♣ Responsible for generating weekly financial reports in IDW.♣ Responsible for reviewing all promotional, slotting and bill back deal sheets for accuracy and completeness.♣ Responsible for inputting weekly allocations for all sale items, prior to the Ad week and informing the Warehouse about the allocation quantities generated in the system.♣ Responsible for managing the Discontinued Item Reports for Beauty & Personal Care. ♣ Responsible for developing and implementing training for Lead Clerks in both Health & Beauty Care and General Merchandise Departments.
